HORSE OWNERS

Thank you for visiting our horse owners’ page where you can find programs, events and opportunities for horse owners. We have visited local horse operations, learned about your concerns and are working to develop and implement solutions. Most of the information included will focus on the management of manure and pastures to be used as a guide for your land stewardship skills and to assist in the water quality of our local waterways and eventually the Chesapeake Bay. Water quality concerns everyone. No matter where you live or what kind of work you do, clean water is vital to sustain life.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with our Conservation Specialist to discuss pasture management, please call our office at (804) 443-2327 ext 101.
